Stephen Timms mentioned this in his interview: http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/p006tdzp/Graham_Liver_16_03_2010/ (move slider to 2hrs.23mins) on radio Lancs yesterday in response to our questions about Rural broadband. I hope Adrian can make sure BDUK remember how important the rural areas are... cos Mr Timms said 10% are never gonna get help. Also a good soundbite for FinalThirdFirst on the show.

ps,quick correction, Mr Timss did say rural areas will get 2megabit, but we all know that isn't any good for much the way things are going. Stephen said NGA will never get to rurals.
