For everyone who’s still waiting: I’m afraid there’s still no word as to the whereabouts of last weeks RFS dates. It’s gone 5pm now, so it’s unlikely we’ll see anything today - but stranger things have happened!
I’ll keep this news item updated with the latest, although I won’t be around all evening.

Sorry I didn’t post anything earlier about the RFS dates, but I’m afraid there’s been no news on them since this afternoon when we were told to expect them today.
There was however an announcement on vote4broadband earlier stating that 144 dates had been announced. By the looks of things though, these are mostly One NorthEast

Well the server upgrade went okay, even though it did take us until 2am to finish it all!
I’ve finally updated maps this morning too, so hopefully everything should be looking alright. I’ll probably do them once every couple of weeks now, because it takes quite some time to do them all.

The Register carries the story that BT are going to be deploying wireless kit for the 600 exchanges that do not currently have a trigger level.
This isn’t really new news, as it has long been known that BT were trialling such systems in Cornwall, Scotland and Wales for this very purpose.
