UK-Bug is today running the story that 31 recently commissioned exchanges are suffering delays with respect to end-user orders for ADSL.
Whilst rumours of this have been circulating for a few weeks now, this is the first quantative data detailing the delays and their expected resolution times.

The wireless operator currently provides service to areas in Kent, Sussex and Surrey, and is in the process of expanding to other areas.

The Blagdon and West Harptree have now received new RFS dates after being delayed recently.
Both exchanges are now due to go live on the 17th November 2004.
The reason for the delay was due to blocked cable ducting. There was also the problem that the ducting crossed under two roads, one of which serviced the local
BT Wholesale have this afternoon told service providers that the prices of the business products “IPStream Office” and “IPStream S” are to rise from the 1st September 2004.
