Firefox extension update

Samknows Firefox Extension

There is now a Firefox extension available to anyone who uses samknows.com quite often.
The extension allows you to use the Broadband Availability checker on the fly, by just entering a telephone number, and clicking Go.
The extension uses a slightly different script on a different server, however, it provides all the information available on samknows.com.

New BT charges

From the 1st September 2005, BT Wholesale will be reducing the charges made for new ADSL provisions. Quite a few ISPs do not charge this, as they spread the cost over a 12-month period.
For ‘home’ (50:1 contention) and ‘office’ (20:1 contention) these have been reduced from £50 to £40. SDSL has been reduced from £260
