French broadband boost from France Telecom

France Telecom has unveiled plans for a three year programme of ADSL infrastructure improvements that will allow an additional 86,000 French households to receive broadband.

The 60m Euro programme will mean the country’s proportion of broadband-enabled lines will rise from 98.6% to 99% by 2013.
