Glasgow Halfway 1 - 0 London Nimbys

Muswell Hill residents may have scored an own goal with some of their unwanted fibre cabinets being redeployed to Glasgow. BT Openreach has announced an acceleration of their rollout of "up to 40M" broadband which will see the service go live in the Glasgow Halfway exchange area this autumn rather than next year.

Muswell Hill residents and Haringey planners are opposed to deployment of the olive green steel FTTC cabinets in conservation areas. The cabinets house electronics to feed VDSL2 signals into the phone lines and connect back to the exchange via fibre optic links.
