Simplifydigital launches new digital advice service
Yesterday saw the launch of Simplifydigital, a new digital services advice company. They aim to take the complexity out of choosing broadband, TV and phone services by tailoring a package to suit your individual needs. Whilst there are parallels between Simplifdigital and online comparison sites, Simplifydigital are breaking the mould by offering impartial advice over a freephone telephone number. So you get to speak to a real person (based in London) about your needs, all for free. If you find a package that takes your fancy, then they can process the order on your behalf and guide you through the entire process.
In fact, we’ve teamed up with them to offer the service via this site too. From now on, the Simplifydigital availability checker will be available from the menu on the left, and from a link at the top right of the screen.
This site, Samknows.com, focuses heavily upon the wholesale aspects of the broadband market, listing which operators have presence where. However, this does not often translate well in to consumer services availability (as a consumer ISP may buy from multiple wholesale providers). The new Simplifydigital service handles all of this, so it is ideal for consumers looking to take up broadband, digital TV or phone services. It is worth noting that Simplifydigital do make commission on sign-up - these come from the ISPs and TV providers (It doesn’t impact the price you pay). We will also be earning a percentage of the commission on any referrals from this site.
Anyway, if this is not your cup of tea, you can rest assured that the existing broadband checker is going nowhere! It is now available from the Wholesale Checker link on the left menu. Yes, I know the Wholesale Checker is not “new”, but I’m just trying to avoid confusion over the differing roles of the two checkers.
I’d love to get some feedback from any users who have used the Simplifydigital service - good or bad!
