Availability checker updated with new providers

A much needed update of the Availability Checker has finally been completed. This adds support for ADSL Max, Be, Wanadoo, Zen, Edge and also improved data for Now wireless services. There are also a few other additions that will be completed over the coming weeks.

LLU Update

Today seems to of been a busy day for some of the LLU providers.
Wanadoo remove two exchanges from the unbundling rollout plan, these unlucky exchanges are Almondsbury and Waltham Cross. Seven exchanges have been pushed back from 30/04/06 to 31/07/06 these can be found here

ADSL Max data added and XML availability checker updates

Bulldog data updated, Be* data and Wanadoo data added

I’ve updated the Bulldog data and added Be* and Wanadoo data to the site. The Be* and Wanadoo data is currently viewable only on the LLU pages. I’ll add that data to the individual exchange pages shortly (a major database change prohibits this at present).

Easynet to offer LLUStream

Easynet are to offer LLUStream via their network of LLU exchanges – list here
Pricing is unclear as yet but in the press release from Easynet they are making noises about being significantly cheaper.
2005 should be a interesting year for LLU developments.

BT Wholesale slashes LLU charges

This morning BT have announced that they will be reducing LLU (Local Loop Unbundling) charges by up to 70%.
